Police were on the scene to investigate the incident, however, weren’t required to direct traffic in the area.
A Police Media spokeswoman said thick traffic teamed with wet conditions were believed to be the causes of the crash.
About a kilometre north of the three-car crash, two cars collided near the Meadow Springs Drive and Mandurah Road intersection.
The front of a Ford Falcon XR6 and rear of a Hyundai iX35 were damaged in the collision.
Both drivers escaped uninjured and weren’t required to be treated by St John Ambulance officers.
