Lakelands Shopping Centre has invited the community to join them for their first birthday celebration.
The centre will be transformed on Saturday June 24, into a community fair, full of free fun activities to keep the kids entertained all day.
From 10am, customers can expect to enjoy a host of activites including live entertainment, wildlife interactions, circus workshops, roaming fairies, balloon twisters and mini golf.

Turn the technology off and let the kids roam the fair with free face painting, giant indoor games, cupcake decorating, mural painting with local artist Samantha Prentice and popcorn and fairy floss all day long.
Since opening in June 2017, Lakelands has been a growing retail precinct with a number of new tenants, including Caffissino, Ally Fashion, Lakers News, Matsu Sushi, Lakelands Multiservice, Jupiter Health Medical Centre, Man Up Gents Hairdressing and Silver Sponge Hand Car Wash.
Lakelands regional marketing manager Amanda Clarke said the milestone was something to celebrate.
“We have really established ourselves in the community over the last year and when complete, Lakelands Shopping Centre will have it all, a sub-regional shopping centre at the heart of the Lakelands Community,” she said.
“Your first birthday is always a special one, so we are going all out and would love the community to come and celebrate with us.”
The next exciting phase of construction at Lakelands Shopping Centre is the highly anticipated Lakelands Tavern set to open in late 2019.
