Four cars damaged in Madora Bay crash

Four cars have been damaged after a collision at a Madora Bay intersection caused a domino effect on Tuesday evening.

Firefighters and police were called to the scene about 6pm.

The cars involved were waiting during a red traffic light at the Mandurah Road and Lord Hobart Drive intersection when the incident occurred.

It’s alleged the driver of a Hyundai 120 didn’t break quick enough and drove into the back of a grey Suzuki Swift that was idling at the intersection.

No one was seriously injured in the incident.

The driver of the Suzuki said the impact had caused her to go forward and hit the car in front.

She also said she was experiencing chest pains and was in shock.

Mandurah Road northbound right lane and turning lane were closed by police, while firefighters cleaned the fuel and oil spill.
