From leather and sequences to feathers and lace, bras of all shapes and sizes have been decorated and exhibited at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre as part of the fundraising initiative ‘Uplifting’ Art Bras for a Cause.
Held annually Powertex Art Supplies Australia, the bra exhibition and auction raises money for the Cancer Council's Pink Ribbon campaign.
Pink Ribbon aims to raise awareness about breast and gynaecological cancers, as well as raise funds for prevention programs, support services and vital cancer research.
Local artists jumped at the opportunity to create unique and fascinating contributions to be auctioned off.
Among the talented local pieces donated, sits a bra decorated by an international artist from Canada.
If you would like to view the exhibition visit the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre before it finishes on June 24 or visit the auction website.
The auction opened on May 4, with bids required to be entered prior 4pm on June 18.
