Mandurah’s car lovers turnout for vintage Holden event, despite wet weather

A free car event showcasing vintage Holdens from around the nation rolled into Mandurah this weekend.

The unique occasion was a FB-EK Nationals event and showcased cars created from 1960 to 1962. 

Despite the cold wet weather, the old classic cars brought hundreds of Mandurah resident to the Eastern Foreshore on Sunday, June 10 from 9am to 3pm.

The event will be the 29th annual show of its kind, and the first time to ever be held in Mandurah. 

FB-EK Holden Car Club secrertary Gary Sargeson said the Western Australian Club was formed in 2013 and has about 50 members.
