Emergency services have had a busy start to their Tuesday, after responding to a series of call-outs across Mandurah and its surrounding suburbs.
Mandurah State Emergency Services (SES) were called to multiple addresses in the citys southern suburbs to fix storm-related damage.
Crews mostly responded to reports of loose material that had the potential to blow away in the heavy winds.

A severe weather warning was issued by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) on Tuesday morning.
The wild weather front has been labeled as unusual and unexpected, and will likely cause damage to homes and make travel dangerous.
According to DFES, in southwest WA the storm is likely to produce the kind of weather that is only seen about five times per year.
The brunt of the storm has been tipped to continue throughout Tuesday and up until the weekend.
The cold front has brought damaging winds of up to 125 kilometres per hour in some areas across southern WA.
Possible thunderstorms and abnormally high tides will also take place during this time too along with heavy rain of up to 30 millimeters.
To prevent any damage in or around your house it is advised that you do the following:
- Clean out your gutters from leaves and branches
- Trim back any overhanging branches
- Make sure that any personal or household belongings outside are brought undercover and weighted down.
