Community members keen to have a good time, while raising money for Pinjarra’s iconic St John’s Church, are encouraged to book a table at a fundraising quiz night on June 15.
Attendees will be lead through eight rounds of questions covering a range of topics such as music, sports, Murray trivia, entertainment, current affairs and general knowledge.
Held at the Pinjarra Civic Centre, doors will open at 6.45pm for a 7pm start.
For a $40 per team entry fee, teams of eight will enjoy an entertaining evening including a DJ, auction and spot prizes.
Teams are encouraged to bring nibbles for their table and a cash bar will be available.
Teams will compete for the grand prize of a Hotham Valley Restaurant Train double dinner pass for each winning team member, thanks to major event sponsor Hotham Valley Tourist Railway.
There are a wealth of attractive items up for purchase during the quiz night's auction including a signed Eagles’ guernsey and several art pieces from the Shire of Murray’s art collection, acquired over a number of years at the annual Rotary Club of Pinjarra Art Exhibition and Sale.
Other items to be auctioned include a night away at the Quality Hotel Ambassador Perth, dinner for eight at Parliament House donated by Member for Murray-Wellington Robyn Clarke, local hand-made jarrah products and more.
A raffle will also be drawn during the proceedings.
There are only 20 tables remaining, so interested participants are encouraged to book their spots as soon as possible.
Entries close June 8, and to secure the table, payments must accompany entries.
Please note this is an over 18’s event.
