Mandurah Forum will be doing what it can in May, to help alleviate issues of youth unemployment and disengagement.
The Pinjarra Road shopping centre has partnered with Beacon Foundation, an organisation that aims to motivate young people for a successful post-secondary school career.
The partnership will see the launch of Light the Way, an initiative to raise much needed funds for the organisation.

The foundation primarily works to reduce youth unemployment through programs that equip students with the skills and confidence required to make the transition from school to work.
As part of the initiative Mandurah Forum will give away one $100 centre gift voucher every hour, on the hour, to customers who donate a gold coin for the foundation at the customer service desk on May 25-26.
Winners will be randomly drawn every hour starting at 10am and finishing at 1pm each day.
Mandurah Forum centre manager Jacqueline McKenzie said Light the Way was an opportunity for the community to come together to support the work of Beacon Foundation.
“We are proud to work with Beacon Foundation, which supports young people in the Peel region so they can achieve career success,” she said.
“Mandurah Forum and Vicinity Centres will match every dollar raised during our Light the Way campaign, helping Beacon Foundation continue to support young people in our community.”
