Mandurah Traffic Bridge will display bright orange on May 23, in support of the Wear Orange Wednesday.
The day, hosted by WA Department of Fire and Emergency Services, is a chance for people to acknowledge and thank volunteers working in the field.
More than 2,000 State Emergency Service volunteers across the state play a vital role in keeping the community safe during natural disasters and emergencies.
City of Mandurah has put their new traffic bridge lights to good use, by raising awareness for special days and initiatives since it opened.
At their April council meeting, Mandurah councillors unanimously voted to continue to using the LED lights on the bridge to raising awareness.
The most recent time the lights were used in a similar way was during National Road Safety Week and on World IBD Day.
