Firefighters are working to control an unauthorised blaze that started in Furnissdale about 2.30pm on Wednesday.
The blazed started at an address on Goodooga Road and jumped to neighbouring properties.
Two fire trucks from local Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service Brigades were called to the property by a resident to fight the blaze.
Homes in the area are on large blocks that contain semi-dense vegetation and concerns have been raised for neighbouring properties.
