Residents near the Mandurah Ocean Marina can expect to see City of Mandurah crews working on structural changes across May and June.
Pedestrian linkages, lighting, safety, parking, signage, parking enforcement and education will be the main focus of the work that is tipped to be completed in mid-June.
The modifications have been approved by council after being proposed by the Mandurah Ocean Marina Community Working Group, which consists of residents and business owners.

After assessing the area the group made the recommendations in an attempt to improve the movement network into and around the marina.
City of Mandurah chief executive officer Mark Newman said the upgrades to the pedestrian access and lighting along the walkway to the marina, between Ormsby Terrace and Keith Holmes Reserve, were due to be completed this week.
“The adjacent Ormsby Terrace pedestrian crossing improvements planned will be completed by mid-June,” he said.
“Additional works including lighting upgrades around Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, Reading Cinemas, and Mandurah Senior and Community Centre, are anticipated to be completed by June 2019.
“The group’s partnership with the city demonstrates the important role that community members and stakeholders play in identifying and developing upgrade priorities to ensure a strong, more vibrant future for our community.”
