A 45-year-old man, who appeared in court via video link from Hakea prison, pleaded guilty to messaging a protected person more than 90 times from fake Facebook accounts and an email address.
The man pleaded guilty to 11 counts of breaching a family violence restraining order and three counts of breaching a police order.
Prosecuting sergeant Nev Palmer told the court the man, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, messaged the family member, who was protected by a violence restraining order, multiple times between September 8, 2017 and October 24, 2017.
Sgt Palmer said the man used three different Facebook accounts and an email address to contact the victim.
The man also breached a police order by being in the company of a different protected person in Parmelia on May 4, 2018, he said.
Magistrate Anne Longden remanded the man’s charges to June 12, 2018, for sentencing in the Mandurah Magistrates Court.
