People interested “getting back to nature” have been urged to sign up for a new event hosted by Jarrahdale Walks, a group dedicated to providing informative trail experiences.
The group recently opened admission for its latest event called Forest and Creek.
Organiser Bernie Smith promised something for everyone and encouraged people to sign up.
The walk will be held from 3pm on May 27, in the town located about 45 kilometres north-east of Mandurah.
Once groups have completed the walk, organisers and attendees can meet at the Jarrahdale Tavern for a meal and beverage.

Participants are encouraged to make a $5 donation before starting the walk. Donations are used to maintain the trails.
The walk is set to showcase the unique flora and fauna of the region and is also aimed at educating people about the environment.
Mrs Smith said there would be various fungi and flowers on show during the walk.
Due to the slippery slopes and loose gravel often found on the trails, participants are encouraged to bring sturdy walking shoes.
Weather protection, insect repellent, trail snack and water is also recommended.
The Forest and Creek trail experience will take about two and a half hours and will be a medium grade walk.
For more information on the group’s next walk or to grab an events calendar, call Bernie on 0406 980 677 or visit www.jarrahdale.com.
The group will host nine walks throughout the year, all with a different theme.
One of their biggest events is their annual ghost walk.
Held in April this year, organisers were impressed to see more than 200 people attended the ghoulish event, that kicked off their season.
