Two men have been remanded to appear in court this Friday, after being charged with assaulting a man and woman in Mandurah’s Smart Street Mall on Anzac Day.
Falcon man Dean Barry Cooper (21) and Kelmscott man Travis Hugh Payne (20), who appeared in court today, have not yet entered pleas to their individual counts of assault.
The pair will reappear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on Friday, May 18.
Mr Cooper’s case was adjourned so he could obtain proof of his employment as a FIFO worker, for the prosecution.
Mr Payne’s lawyer asked for his case to be adjourned for legal advice.
Their bail was renewed with a condition that they not contact the male victim.
