Halls Head College has teamed up with local primary schools in the area, to showcase their new performance Alice.
Director Marion Palmer said primary school students from Falcon, Ocean Road and South Halls Head would be involved in the production as well as the Halls Head College Education Support Centre.
“They will act as extras the scenes, to support our arts transition program from primary to high school,” she said.

About 45 children will be involved from Falcon Primary School.
Music teacher Ab Chaudhry said it was an “absolutely amazing” experience for the students.
“It’s the second year we’ve been working with the school and it organises the transition of arts through to high school in a nice way,” he said.
“Our children are so excited to be able to do it.
“For our children to be on stage with the older children...it’s absolutely amazing.”
Ms Palmer said the production was a re-working of Alice in Wonderland.
“It’s not quite Disney, it’s not quite Tim Burton...it’s somewhere in between,” she said.
The production highlights the experience of being a teenager; the temptations, difficulties and angst.
“If you look at every line of Alice in Wonderland, it’s like growing up and being a teenager,” Ms Palmer said.
“It’s so relevant to today’s society.
“Alice goes on the journey through wonderland, and she meets certain characters who either tempt her, or teach her, or force her to ask questions about herself...like puberty and all that teenage angst.
“We’re tying in those modern themes, but sticking with the Alice in Wonderland that everybody read when they were kids.”
Jenae Pozzi, who plays Alice in the production, said she enjoyed drama and was looking forward to the production.
“Performing allows you to be creative and not afraid to be out-there and over-the-top,” she said.
“It’s really helped my confidence and to be a better person.”
The performance will use about 70 percent of recycled materials for props and costumes.
The show will be held on June 14 and 15 at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.
