Detectives have charged a man after a car chase on Tuesday afternoon.
Just after 2.25pm police saw a Mitsubishi sedan with one man on board, near the intersection of Coronata Drive and Torbay Mews, Warnbro.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle by hitting the lights and sirens, but they will allege the driver failed to stop and sped off.
The vehicle drove through the suburbs of Warnbro, Port Kennedy and Waikiki. At times, police will allege, the vehicle drove in a reckless manner by crossing to the wrong side of the road causing other road users to swerve to avoid a collision.
The man abandoned the car on Halyard Way in Waikiki and was arrested by police nearby.
Rockingham Detectives have charged the 20-year-old man from Rockingham with Reckless Driving, Fail to Stop, No Authority to Drive and Endanger Life/Health of any Person.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, April 25.
