Bullying, masculinity and stereotypes are just some of the many important topics cover by talented young artists during Contemporary Arts Spaces Mandurah (CASM)s latest exhibition Masterpieces 2K18.
The exhibition started six years ago, and has since become a regular event on the gallerys calendar.
Masterpieces flaunts the work of Mandurahs youth artists, aged between 13 and 25.
The collection of iconic and unique art works reveals the visually diverse interpretation of the artists life experiences and interests.
This year, there are 44 pieces in the exhibition, which is a massive jump from 13 in the competitions inaugural year.
Organisers have seen entries double in the 18 to 25-year-old category, from seven in the first year to 14 now.
There has also been a massive jump in the amount of digital pieces submitted.
The increase in digital works comes after CASM held their first ever The Projection Project exhibition titled Otherworlds.
A series of workshops were also held in conjunction with that previous exhibition.
On April 20, the exhibition will be officially opened and awards will be presented to the most outstanding pieces.

A guest speaker for the evening will be Mandurah mayor Rhys Williams.
If you miss out on attending the opening night, the exhibiton will run from April 20 until May 13.
There will also be a Peoples Choice Award. To vote, grab a slip at the gallery and put it in the designated box.
