Brigade members will host two open morning teas as part of a volunteer drive.
The events will take place at Wilderness Drive Park on April 28 and at Florida Beach Reserve on May 5.
Both morning teas will be held between 10am and 1pm and provide attendees with an opportunity to talk to current brigade members about their experiences volunteering.
Brigade secretary Pam Bennett said members were hoped to get a strong turnout of people interested in joining.
So far, the brigade have dropped 1000 flyers around the Dawesville are in a hope to find potential volunteers.
The recruitment catchment area extends from the Dawesville Cut Bridge to Lake Clifton.
The brigade is looking for both firefighters and auxiliary members.
Ms Bennett said being a member provided people with the chance to give something back to their local community.
“Bring the kids down and have a look at our brand new appliances. The kids can dress up as fire fighters and squirt some water from the fire truck,” Ms Bennett said.
