Rp would focus on creating a piece of legislation for Youth Affairs in Western Australia, that would be introduced to the rest of the Youth Parliament.

The Mandurah student will spend the first week of the July holidays in a mock Parliament with the rest of the group, where they will introduce legislation as well as debate other committees legislation.

Mandurah Baptist College public relations officer Lisa van Til said Rp hoped the opportunity would further fuel his passion for politics.

“He wants to thank his teachers Miss Tuite and Mrs Eppen for providing him with this opportunity.” she said.
