Arj Barker said he hopes to “avoid the scary seagulls” when he heads back to Mandurah next month, after being attacked last time.
Barker, who will be returning to town as part of the Perth Comedy Festival, said he was chased by the birds when he was running along the marina.
“I was attacked by seagulls last time I was there,” he said. “It was pretty scary...so did my friend on a separate occasion.
“We were both going for a run and we were chased.”

Nevertheless, Barker said he loved Mandurah and the audiences were “tremendous”.
”It’s beautiful..I love it,” he said.
Barker said he’s grown as a comedian and believes this show is his best yet.
“I’ve really honed this show,” he said. “You wouldn't want to miss out on this one...but the seagulls aren’t invited.”
He will be supported by Sydney comedian Sam Bowring.
In recent years, Barker has spent more time in our country than his own and has come to understand our culture.
He played a starring role as Dave in HBO's hit series Flight of the Conchords and has appeared on Bill Maher’s Last Comic Standing, multiple Just for Laughs comedy galas and Australian shows such as Thank God You’re Here, Rove, Spicks and Specks and Good News Week.
Arj Barker will perform at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on May 1.
