Sceptics and believers alike are welcome to join an upcoming ghost tour in the Jarrahdale’s township on Saturday.
The ghoulish event will kick off the Jarrahdale Walk group’s 2018 Walks Program season off with style.
Attendees will be transported to early life in the town located about 45 kilometres north-east of Mandurah.

Actors will be scatted throughout the two kilometre walking trail, surprising participants while telling them tales of the town’s pioneers.
Organiser Bernie Smith said the walk was for all ages and wouldn’t be too much of a fright for young ones.
The walk is also aimed at educating people, with a focus on what life was like in Jarrahdale prior to electronics and social media set to feature in this year’s walk.
Mrs Smith said plenty of interesting tales from Jarrahdale’s past would be on show, including war tales.
Attendees are encouraged to make a $5 donation and children under school-age are free.
A sausage sizzle, tea or coffee and soft drinks are available to buy at the start of the walk.
The group will also host fundraising raffles at the event.
Registration for the walk starts at 6pm, at the Bruno Gianatti Hall on Munro Street ahead of its launch at 7pm.
Participants are urged to wear appropriate walking shoes, have a torch and plenty of insect repellent.
For more information on the group’s next walk or to grab an events calendar, call Bernie on 0406 980 677 or visit www.jarrahdale.com.
The group will host nine walks throughout the year, all with a different theme.
