From construction of luxury canal homes to major public structures such as Dawesville's Port Bouvard bridge, Mandurah has been in a state of flux over the last couple of decades.
Information from the 2016 census revealed Peel was one of the fastest growing areas in the nation and population forecasts have tipped an increase in the years to come.
Mandurah has had a steady population growth of 13,442 people between 2011 and 2016, an increase of 16.1 per cent.

Between 2011 and 2016 Mandurah added an additional 3484 families and 6496 houses and units.
From a small, sleepy coastal community to a bustling city, Mandurah has matured over the years.
Today, Mandurah is West Australia’s largest regional city and is home to more than 83,000 people.
On average, we’ve welcomed 1932 new residents each year, over the past five years.
