Up-and-coming Mandurah band The Gussett have come a long way since their inception 15-months ago.
The indie-rockers will be launching their first EP Sunset and Phets at Perth venue Jack Rabbit Slim’s in March.
Lead guitarist Gordon said the four friends started jamming together for fun and decided to form a band.
“We just enjoyed playing music. It kind of grew from there,” he said.
Gordon said there were some talented new artists coming out of Mandurah including members of Indigo and the band Good Doogs.
“There are some really good local artists kicking around,” he said.
