Students from Years 7 to 10 from both the Education Support Centre and Halls Head College gathered in groups to complete a wide variety of tasks incorporating English, maths, history and science.
As part of the race, they had to solve clues, navigate areas of the Mandurah foreshore, interact with local businesses and perform physical and mental challenges.
The event hopes to enable the students to participate and be part of a team while improving their leadership skills, resilience, confidence, organisation and persistence, the motto of the school’s You Can Do It program.
The winning team will have the chance to go out for a meal at one of the local eateries.
