Hundreds of job seekers, students and those pondering a future career piled into the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre’s events auditorium on Wednesday to attend the Peel Employment Expo 2017.
Recruiters and training organisations from around the region had the chance to meet prospective employees face to face.
Job hunters took to the opportunity to meet employers needing staff.
Billed as the region’s biggest employment expo, the event aimed to hook-up employers directly to prospective employees.

Robert Shaw from SMYL Community Services said more than 2500 people attended the event in 2016.
The industries showcased at the expo included retail, agri-business, tourism, the music industry, mining and construction.
The expo was expected to wind up at 2.30pm.
