Mandurah police were called to a Dawesville home on Thursday afternoon following reports of a sudden death.
Few details are available at this stage but detectives are understood to be attending the property as part of the investigation.
Streets surrounding Cunderdin Loop are likely to be blocked for some time while officers establish whether the death is suspicious.
