Get ready to rock at The Cut

Pyramids Restaurant at The Cut Golf Course brings back their three-course dinner and stage show event with a rocking British legends tribute featuring John Crane as Rod Stewart and Thomas Crane as Freddie Mercury on Saturday, October 21.

John Crane arrived in Australia from Scotland in 1988 to pursue a musical career.

John along with his brother Tom formed a band and started playing in hotels and tavern in Perth.

It wasn’t long before they realised British music was extremely well received in WA.

With the inclusion of a Freddie Mercury and Rod Stewart floor show the band took off, wowing crowds wherever they played.

The rest is history, with Tom and John both going on to solo careers touring Australia and Asia.

John is a dynamic performer and has appeared many times on telethon, and in 2006 was a finalist on the TV show Star Struck.

John’s tribute to Rod Stewart is a truly remarkable salute to one of Scotland’s greatest rock performers.

The show features all the number one hits and great anthem classics like, Maggie May, Drift Away, First Cut is the Deepest, Tonight’ s the Night, You’re in my Heart, Hot Legs, Do you think I’m Sexy and the unforgettable Sailing.

Thomas Crane made his first formal appearance as the legendary Freddie Mercury on the television show Starstruck in 2006 and Australia’s Got Talent in 2011.

His show has received critical acclaim and accolades everywhere it has toured.

The posturing and preening, the strutting and showmanship, everything is here, right down to the cheeky banter and singing contests between Freddie and his audience.

From the moment Crane breaks onto stage, this really is A Kind Of Magic.

For those who were lucky enough to see Queen perform during their reign this will be a wonderful trip down memory lane.

Take a trip into rock musical history with our double feature as John presents Tonight’s the Night and Thomas performs Freddie Mercury at The Cut Golf Course.
