Mandurah MP David Templeman and Murray-Wellington MP Robyn Clarke have met with Riding for the Disabled (RDA) in Pinjarra to formalise the $40,000 promised to the group during the state election campaign.
RDA said the funding would be sourced from Royalties for Regions and would assist with the improvement and expansion of infrastructure at the association’s centre in Fairbridge.
RDA is a community based not for profit charitable organisation providing horse riding and equine activities to develop the abilities of children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities, mental health issues and learning problems.
In July, RDA Murray Mandurah received assistance from the Lord’s Taverners Australia’s Peel branch who pitched in with a $2000 fuel card.
