More than 30 young skaters took to Falcon’s skate park over the school holidays to learn some pro tips from Skateboarding WA’s talented tutors.
The free event was part of the City of Mandurah’s school holiday program and it featured a Skate Clinic for attendees to work on their skills and a Jam session for pro skaters to win prizes.
Punters aged 11 to 25 from different backgrounds and ability levels had the opportunity to put on a helmet, jump on a skateboard and work on their skills with the help of the workshop facilitators.
Skateboarding WA is a organisation managed by a group of committed WA skateboarders which hopes to empower and engage youth of all ages through skateboarding programs.
The group regularly partners with local governments and skateboarding industry stakeholders to deliver their programs state-wide.
