Mandurah detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information regarding a serious incident in Falcon on July 9 where a teenager threatened and punched a 56-year-old man.
Around 9.15pm, the 56-year-old man was walking along Cobblers Road when a male teenager approached him and asked for a cigarette.
They spoke for a while before the teenager demanded money from the man.
When he said he didn’t have any, the youth punched him in the head, causing him to fall to the ground hitting his head on the pavement.
The teenager was last seen walking along Cobblers Street towards Koolinda Street.
He is described as being aged between 14 and 16 years of age, being approximately 178cm tall, medium to solid build, dark skinned and having black wavy hair.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a black hooded jumper, dark coloured pants and a gold cross earring in his left ear.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident or who lives in the area and has a CCTV system in place.
