Two Mandurah men have been charged with several offences following a police chase around Huntingdale in which a police car was allegedly rammed on Wednesday night.
Just after 11pm, police officers were travelling on Mason road, near Warton Road when they saw a Holden Commodore speeding.
Allegedly, when police attempted to stop the vehicle, the car failed to stop and continued to evade police on Huntingdale Road and surrounding streets.
The car then drove head on into a police vehicle, causing minor damage, before two of the occupants of the car jumped our of the car and ran off.
As police were running after the men, one of them allegedly threw a can of alcohol at the officers.
The two other occupants of the vehicle remained in the car and were arrested by police.
The driver, a 24-year-old man from Mandurah, was charged with reckless driving, failing to stop, having no authority to drive, having false plates, having an unregistered vehicle, assault to prevent arrest, and blowing 08 per cent over the limit.
He will appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court on July 14.
One of the passengers, a 21-year-old man from Mandurah, was charged with assault of a public officer and will appear in court at a later date.
The two other occupants of the car weer released without charges.
