Residents in Mandurah’s north are preparing to put the hype surrounding ALDI to the test this month, when the supermarket opens its doors in Lakelands.
From Wednesday, June 21, ALDI Lakelands will offer the community its grocery products and “special buys”, together with fresh fruit, vegetables and bread delivered daily.
“At ALDI, we are proud to call ourselves ‘Good Different’,” a spokesperson said.
“We offer a supermarket experience that is like no other in Australia, and it’s our differences that allow us to bring unbeatable value to our customers every day.
“We’re excited to be opening our new store in Lakelands and look forward to showing residents the difference ALDI can make to their wallets and lifestyles.”
ALDI Lakelands features a number of recently introduced innovations, including redesigned shelving, expanded wooden produce bays, as well as extended energy efficient chillers.
“While we’re delighted to be introducing these innovations, we want our customers to know they won’t lead to higher prices,” the spokesperson said.
To celebrate the opening of ALDI Lakelands, there will be a number of unique Special Buys on offer, which will not be available all together in any other store.
ALDI Lakelands would be supported by a team of 15-20 permanent full and part-time employees.
The new store is at Lakelands Shopping Centre, Mandurah Road, Lakelands.
Opening hours will be Monday to Wednesday 8.30am-6pm, with extended trading until 9pm on Thursdays, and hours on Friday from 8.30am-6pm.
Saturday hours will be 8.30am-6pm and Sunday hours will be 10am to 5pm.
