Emergency crews were called to a property near the intersection of Anstruther Road and Boundary Road after a man suffered a medical emergency and crashed into a limestone fence on Wednesday noon.
Police at the scene said the man had borrowed a friend’s 4wd to go a nearby shop and get some food, but as he was driving back he choked on a sausage, prompting a coughing fit that made him lose control of the vehicle.
He crashed into a parked car before hitting a limestone wall and stopping just a couple of metres before a house.
No charges were laid over the incident, and there were no injuries.
