Mandurah’s famed Redmanna Waterfront Restaurant has added more awards to its collection, picking up Best Seafood Restaurant at the Savour Restaurant and Catering Awards 2016.
It builds on the restaurant’s collection of awards and accolades across the state for its seafood and wine list.
Redmanna owner and chef Jason Hutchen said the award helped put Mandurah on the map and develop its name as a place that has top-level restaurants.
He attributed the restaurant’s success to the dedication of its staff.
“These guys, they’re here early in the morning and don’t leave until way after close. It’s a family, and we all get on, that’s the secret to it,” he said.
The views are impressive regardless of the season.
The floor-to-ceiling windows allow unobstructed views of the Peel Estuary, the old traffic bridge, the fairground and the occasional passing fishing boat.
