Make-up artist Courtney Hollins is a Mandurah woman whose talents have been recognised worldwide.
She lectures and teaches TrainSmart’s Diploma of Screen and Media course, showing students how to use wigs and liquid latex for maximum effect.
Recently Ms Hollins took her students King’s Square in Fremantle to bewitch onlookers with ghoulish designs.
“I enjoy character make-up as it gives me the opportunity to be creative with unique designs,” Ms Hollins said.
“I love covering both the face and body in make-up and if I can inspire others to ‘think outside the box’ and be creative that can only be a good thing.”
She said there was nothing more satisfying than to see someone totally transformed by make-up and special effects.
“Why be ordinary when you can be extraordinary?” she said.
