Mandurah BAM makeup studio artists Megan Clarke and Brooke Wragg have done it again.
The team took home both the first and second place at the WA IHS State Championship Makeup Artist of the Year in September, after winning the first place in the same competition in 2015.
Their two ‘flawless’ makeup designs gathered this year’s trends in bridal makeup.
“We were on stage completing a makeup look from start to finish fitting the brief of ‘flawless face’,” they said.
“You are so focused on your work and what you are doing you have no time to see what your competition is doing.
“Nor do you know what the judges are looking for.”
The team said they were ecstatic when they found out about their success, and said they will be competing again next year.
“We are so happy obviously as individuals but to come first and second place for our studio was amazing,” they said.
“It’s a huge part of our lives as it’s our business it’s what we do and what we love.”
They hope to expand their cosmetic line in the future and “keep making women feel good about themselves”.
