9.10pm: A fire burning in Madora Bay has seen firefighters from Mandurah, Singleton, Baldivis and Rockingham attend.
The blaze was reported after 8pm and is burning in bushland off Madora Beach Road.
The front extends up to 500+ metres, with winds fanning the flames towards Mandurah Road.
Fire crews on the ground are reporting difficult conditions, with the front hard inaccessible in some places.
At this stage there is no threat to lives or property, but back-up has been called in case the wind changes.
There is no word on what caused the fire at this stage.
Fire crews remain in the area and drivers are reminded to make way for all emergency vehicles.
The blaze has been classified as third alarm.
