Three missing prospectors have been found safe and well by an employee of Inglewood Station about 30-40kms north of the Murchison station.
The vehicle they were travelling in had suffered several flat tyres and the three had remained with their vehicle.
Police are preparing an action plan for their recovery.
The 65-year-old man, his 66-year-old wife and their son, 33, left their Boddington home on Wednesday last week to travel to Windsor Station in the state's Mid West and were last seen in Mt Magnet two days later.
WA Police spokeswoman Ros Weatherall said the air search began on Tuesday and continued overnight over Windsor Station..
The trio left Boddington for the camping trip last Wednesday, September 2, in a Mitsubishi camper and a Honda Jazz.
The region is the same area where prospectors Jennie and Raymond Kehlet went missing – a search which has since become the biggest in the state's history.
The Kehlet search has continued almost without pause since the couple went missing in March.
Mr Kehlet's body was found at the bottom of a 12-metre deep disused mine shaft in mid-April.
A fresh team was sent in August to search for Mrs Kehlet, despite no longer expecting to find her alive.
Ms Weatherall confirmed on Wednesday the physical search had now been called off but the investigation was continuing.
Police have said the remote terrain poses challenges for searchers, being rocky, scrubby and peppered with disused mine shafts, some full of water.
