EMOTIONS ran high on Tuesday at an inquest into the death of a Halls Head man after he was discharged from Peel Health Campus almost two years ago.
David Yehuda Weiser collapsed at home two days after being discharged from the Mandurah hospital with an incorrect diagnosis of gastroenteritis.
Mr Weiser could not be revived by attending St John Ambulance officers.
His death is now under investigation by coroner Barry King who has heard Mr Weiser presented at Peel Health Campus with dizziness after passing blood.
Mr Weiser, who had a complex medical history, suffered from asthma, diabetes, renal failure and hypertension.
His son gave evidence to the inquest this week that he was concerned about his father as it was unlike him to complain.
Treating physician Nigel Hendrickson has been accused of not acting with urgency in Mr Weiser’s case.
The inquest continues.
