FOUR lives were lost on West Australian roads during the Easter long weekend.
On Thursday, a white Hyundai sedan was travelling in Coodanup when it left the road and struck a tree.
The impact caused the vehicle to spin and tip onto the passenger side.
Both occupants of the vehicle were taken to Peel Health Campus where the 78-year-old female was discharged shortly after.
The driver, a 78-year-old man from Coodanup was transferred to Royal Perth Hospital but passed away on Friday.
On Friday morning, a 33-year-old man died after the car he was a passenger in rolled on North West Coastal Highway in Meadow.
The crash also left a 34-year-old woman in Geraldton Regional Hospital with injuries.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, a yellow Subaru station sedan veered to the wrong side of the road and collided with a tree in Hacketts Gully.
The impact caused the vehicle to catch fire along with the surrounding bushland.
The single occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
The fourth Easter fatality was recorded on Monday night when a 22-year-old woman was killed near Cowaramup.
Police believe two vehicles had a head-on collision on Bussell Highway before another vehicle crashed into the first two.
Two males were conveyed to Busselton Hospital with non-life threatening injuries while a female driver has been flown to Royal Perth Hospital.
The Cowaramup death puts the national road toll for the Easter long weekend at 20.
