A DRIVER has escaped injury after their car caught fire in a collision with another vehicle in central Mandurah.
According to police, a Toyota Corolla and a Diahatsu hatchback collided at the intersection of Mandurah Terrace and Anstruther Road shortly after 10.30am.
Both drivers were uninjured in the crash but were treated for shock.
It is believed a fire extinguisher was used from a nearby shop to douse the smoke before fire crews could arrive at the scene.
