Dwellingup Pumpkin Festival returns

THE annual Giant Pumpkin Festival and Country Fair will return to Dwellingup Primary School on April 19 from 10am-4pm.

There will be food stalls, raffles, a bouncy castle, live music, entertainment and of course the giant pumpkin competition.

There will be a number of categories this year including the heaviest table pumpkin for adults and children, the oldest fruit and vegetable, the heaviest watermelon, the tallest sunflower and the heaviest overall pumpkin.

Last year local man Robert Giumelli took out the top spot in the pumpkin weigh-off with his monster pumpkin, which took only six weeks to grow.
