Chris Chandler,10, was recently diagnosed with leukaemia and the football club is holding a fundraiser at Hyundai Stadium on January 25 to assist the Chandler family through the coming months of treatment and expenses.
"Chris is a lovely unassuming lad who is extremely passionate about football, Mandurah City FC and is a fine player in our under 10s squad,” club president Pete Rowe said.
“If any businesses out there in the Peel region can help us help his family through this tough time, we’d be very grateful."
Chris’s coach Neil Morrison has prepared a quiz with the winner to be announced on the night and there are a number fun events taking place, including a giant raffle and a penalty shoot-out.
The event kicks-off at Hyundai Stadium at 5pm, food and refreshments are available and everyone in Mandurah is invited to attend.
