Car fire delays traffic in central Mandurah

EMERGENCY crews are at the scene of a car fire in central Mandurah.

According to DFES, the gas LPG tank vehicle caught fire on Anstruther Road shortly before 2pm.

Mandurah fire crews will continue to disperse the gas and are expected to remain on-site for another 40 minutes.

At this stage, it is not yet known what caused the car fire.

Police are on the scene diverting traffic.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
