Murder charge over Ellenbrook death

A man has been charged with the murder of a man in Ellenbrook earlier this week.

Major crime squad detectives have charged a 52-year-old Ellenbrook man with murder after the death of a 36-year-old Bullsbrook man on Wednesday December 12.

It will be alleged the two men were involved in an altercation at a house in Pinea Turn, Ellenbrook, leaving the 36-year-old man with serious knife wounds.

He was conveyed to Swan Districts Hospital where he later died.

The 52-year-old man has been charged with murder and will appear before the Midland Magistrates Court on Friday.

Inquiries will continue and police will be conducting further investigations at the house over the next few days.
