Bringing four days of excitement for the whole family
Whether you’re a fashionista, foodie, beauty lover or mad about Paw Patrol you’re in for a weekend full of entertainment and excitement when Mandurah Forum reveals its complete transformation on March 22 at 8am.
Mandurah Forum centre manager Jacqueline McKenzie said throughout the four-day launch period the centre and a range of retailers will treat customers to exclusive offers, entertainment and giveaways not to be missed.
“There will be bundles of fun and free activities for the whole family throughout the weekend, and with everything from David Jones gift bags, Mecca Maxima giveaways, live music and free food tastings there really is something for everyone,” she said.
The following celebrations will take place from March 22-25.

Fashion:
David Jones
The fashion giant will start the day with an opening ceremony at 8.45am, with complimentary coffee and gift bags for the first 100 customers before the ribbon is cut at 9am.
David Jones will also host a VIP shopping night between 5-9pm with a DJ, complimentary sparkling wine and offers from March 22-25.
Ella Bache
Ella Bache will be giving away free travel size products with every skincare product brought from David Jones.
H&M
The popular fashion retailer will keep guests entertained with a DJ at their pre-opening party and give away scratch cards for the first few hundred in the queue with discounts up to 50 per cent off their purchase or the chance to win a $500 H&M wardrobe.
While you’re there snap yourself on the cover of H&M’s magazine in their selfie booth located outside their store.
H&M opens their doors at 10am.
Forever New
On March 24, Forever New will host styling workshops in the Fashion Hub located near David Jones from 9am-1pm.
Lorna Jane
Lorna Jane invites shoppers to bra fittings and styling sessions on March 25, in the Fashion Hub from 10am-2pm.
Beauty:
Mecca Maxima
No doubt there will be queues for the Mecca Maxima pre-opening party where lots of goodie bags, full of beauty cult favourites are up for grabs.
Mecca Maxima will also give away over $30,000 worth of prizes in their Beauty Lockers – so get in early!
Hairhouse Warehouse
On March 23, Hairhouse Warehouse salon consultants will host virtual Matrix Colour Lounge Consultations using iPads in the Fashion Hub between 9am-5pm, while Just Cuts will feature a styling station on March 24 with curlers and straighteners in the same location between 11am-3pm.
Barbershop Express
Barbershop Express are encouraging shoppers to shave their hair to help beat blood cancer.
Their shaving station will be open on March 22 between 12-12.30pm, March 23 between 11-11.30am and March 24 between 12-12.30pm in the Retailer Activation Zone outside Jay Jays.
Children’s activities:
Ryder and his famous rescue dogs Marshall and Chase
Kids will be excited to met Ryder and his Rescue dogs when they put on free stage shows and meet with families in the Event Space near Smiggle from March 22-26 between 11am-2pm.
Paw Patrol will host craft activities in the same location from March 22 to April 2 between 11am-2pm, excluding Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Dance party
Kids can also enjoy a free dance party in the outdoor food court area with a Kids’ DJ from 22-25 March between 8am-11am, as well as Monster Bubble Shows from 11.30am-1.30pm and Rock n Toddle stage shows 2pm-5pm.
Mermaids
For a chance to see a bit of magic, families can head indoors between the Alfresco Casual Dining Precinct and H&M where Mandurah’s very own real-life mermaids will be to inspire imagination and love for the ocean between 12pm-3pm.
Easter experience
To get ready for Easter kids can also take part in the Mandurah Forum Easter Discovery Hunt on March 22-April 2.
Other children’s activities
Skechers will host a kids colouring station on March 22 between 1.30pm-4pm, The Athlete’s Foot will hold kids lace-tying sessions at 2.30pm and Aster & Ruby will display Wheely Bugs rides between 9-11am.
Other fun and free activities for kids during the four day launch period include face painting, glitter tattoos and balloon twisting.
Children’s health
To freshen up their knowledge on safe sleeping methods and swaddling techniques, parents can take part in the Aster & Ruby sleeping and swaddling workshop on March 22 in the Retailer Activation Zone outside Jay Jays from 8am-12pm.
Food:
Woolworths
To celebrate their fresh new look, Woolworths will host in-store food sampling and giveaways throughout the opening weekend.
On March 22, Woolworths will also team up with boutique Jarrahdale winery Millbrook Winery in the Fashion Hub to showcase a range of cheeses at the Wine and Cheese Bar 11.30am-7pm.
Zambrero
If tacos are a family favourite, prepare your kids to get involved in making them next time by taking them to the Zambrero Kids Taco Bar located at the Foodies Tasting Station near JB Hi-Fi on March 22 between 11.30am-1.30pm.
Customers enjoying the new Alfresco Casual Dining Precinct will be treated to live music on March 22 between 11am-2pm and 6pm-9pm and March 23 from 6pm-9pm.
At the Foodies Tasting Station located near JB Hi-Fi, shoppers can enjoy free samples from a range of new and returning vendors throughout the four days.
