Two local artists have revealed their 2018 Mandurah Crab Fest community art project, and the installation has drawn a crowd.
This year, 1000 wooden crabs were created and decorated to contribute to a large art installation that is positioned on the Eastern Foreshore.
The unique and creative project, headed by Gary Aitken and Emma Blyth, has been five months in the making.
Of the total crabs, 700 have been distributed throughout the community to decorate.
Mr Aitken said he hoped the project would engage the community and excite locals and visitors ahead of the iconic festival.
