The WA Police Force has stood down a South Metropolitan District constable for poor conduct.
The move came after as a result of investigations by the Internal Affairs Unit.
It’s alleged the officer used excessive force and inappropriate language during the arrest of a 16-year-old boy on Australia Day 2018.

The officer is further alleged to have made inappropriate comments to the boy’s mother.
Internal Affairs Unit investigations into the allegations are ongoing.
WA Police have not provided anymore information about the investigation.
