Skier Melissa Perrine has claimed her first Paralympic medal – after three Games.
The para-alpine skier and her sighted guide Christian Geiger won bronze in the vision-impaired super-combined on Tuesday.
Perrine and Geiger’s podium finish brought Australia’s Paralympic medal tally to two.
On Tuesday morning, the two finished off the super G component of the super combined with a time of 1:35.50.
In the afternoon, the pair were in first place after the slalom run with a super-combined total time of time of 2:30.82.
Perrine, from the NSW Southern Highlands, and Geiger were overtaken by gold medal winner Henrieta Farkasova from Slovakia, who finished 3.1 seconds ahead.
Menna FitzPatrick, from Great Britain, claimed the silver medal.
Perrine had her family on hand in PyeongChang, including mother Denise, father Ronald and younger brother Nick. This was the first time watching her ski.
