Staff from Peel Health Campus and Murray District Hospital met for a social gathering this afternoon, the biggest one in some time says organiser Margaret Pearmine.
About 75 colleagues and peers met at the Ravenswood Hotel for lunch and a catch-up with other hospital staff in the region.
Ms Pearmine, 74, said they have had social gatherings in the past, but never this big.
“This is amazing,” she said.
“I am so grateful to all the people that made the effort and came today. It’s great to see so many familiar faces.”
She said spirits were high at the event and everyone seemed to enjoy catching up with old friends.
